(Fall 2024) At Prevail Bank, community is at the heart of everything we do. That's why we're excited to invest $93,650 in local organizations through our Charitable Contributions Program! As a community bank, our mission extends beyond banking—we're here to help our communities grow and thrive. Whether it's supporting nonprofits or funding impactful programs, we're dedicated to making a difference for our neighbors.
Here’s how our contributions are making an impact:
- Farming for the Future Foundation: $36,000 to support the Food + Farm Exploration Center in Stevens Point. The Center is a destination for teachers, schools, families, and agritourists to learn through immersive, multi-sensory activities and exhibits, agricultural innovation and sustainability.
- School District of Prentice: $20,000 was pledged to renovate the school’s track and field if their referendum passes in November. An updated track and field would enhance the school and local community events.
- City of Owen: $5,900 for the main attraction at the city’s centennial celebration, drawing visitors and benefiting local businesses.
- Chippewa Valley Habitat for Humanity: $5,000 to support their mission of providing safe, affordable housing.
- Junior Achievement – Northcentral WI: $3,500 to offer financial literacy and career planning for Marathon County classrooms.
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest WI: $3,000 to support youth mentoring focused on mental health.
- Evolving Wellness: $3,000 for the Safe Haven Program in Eau Claire, addressing teen issues like bullying and addiction.
- Operation Horses Heal: $3,000 for a truck and trailer to provide mobile outreach to veterans.
- Stevens Point Area YMCA: $3,000 for a behavioral health and support services employee.
- First Presbyterian Church: $2,500 for medical supplies at their Free Clinic in Wausau.
- Heart of Wisconsin Pickleball Association: $2,500 to build six new pickleball courts and amenities in Plover.
- First Baptist Church: $1,500 for food pantry operations in Medford.
- Chippewa Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America: $1,000 for camp scholarships for low-to-moderate income scouts.
- Elk Lake Park: $1,000 for final renovation expenses in Phillips.
- Medford Area School District: $1,000 to support Raider Field Plaza construction.
- Wood County 4-H: $1,000 for youth camp scholarships for families in need.
- Elliot’s Library: $500 to provide books to NICU families in northcentral WI hospitals.
- Northwoods Baseball Select: $250 for tournament transportation for young athletes.
