Sometimes, the most incredible journeys start with the simplest of steps. For Alec and Dylan Tutton, it boiled down to three key things: the satisfaction of a completed project, the power of customer referrals, and the strength of the relationships they’ve built.
The Tutton brothers started doing lawn care in high school to make some extra money. They spent their summers biking to neighborhood houses where they’d cut grass or do other small landscaping projects. After high school both Alec and Dylan attended UW-Stevens Point where they studied Business. The brothers have come a long way since then — establishing themselves as business owners of Fresh Cut Lawn Care & Snow Removal, LLC in 2008. It’s a full service lawn care business, offering mowing services, landscaping, hardscaping, servicing/installing sprinklers, snow removal, fertilizing, excavating and trucking.
The brothers both say being business owners comes with challenges and triumphs. But through it all, there are certain rewards that make everything worthwhile. For Alec and Dylan, it boils down to the feeling that arises when a project finally comes together. All the planning, hard work, problem-solving, and never giving up – it all culminates in that beautiful "final masterpiece." The sense of accomplishment is truly priceless.
Alec and Dylan have always taken pride in treating their customer’s property as if it was their own – standing behind quality work, the product and service they provide. Their business has stayed small and efficient over the years, allowing the Tuttons to concentrate on building strong relationships with vendors and customers alike. As a result, they’ve been rewarded with an excellent reputation. Getting positive referrals has helped the business grow.
