90 Years of Growth: To Our Customers We Say, 'Thank You'

 

Prevail Bank company timeline infographicThis month we celebrate nine decades of banking and helping our communities grow. Over the last 90 years, the bank has grown from one Federal Savings and Loan Association in Medford with $2,881 in assets, to over $930,000,000 in assets and nine Wisconsin locations from as far south as Baraboo to the beautiful Northwoods of Phillips. In 2019, we added three new branches and commercial lending and business deposits to the bank’s product mix to help make Prevail Bank a true full-service bank.

Over the years we have continued to adapt to the ever-changing banking industry to help provide our customers and employees with access to the technology and services they expect. It was in 2011 that TIME Online Banking was first introduced. Our more recent technologically advanced and convenience-rich services include online account opening, Credit Sense (Online credit monitoring), Nest Egg (Wealth management), and Salesforce. We have also invested in our local branches in many of our markets to help them better fit our brand and offer a great in-branch experience.   

Prevail’s motto of Pursue what Possible continues to drive our decisions to look for more ways we can help our customers and communities succeed.  Banking has really turned into a 24x7 service and we want to continue to look for ways to help customers fulfill their banking needs when and how they want.  Over the last three years, we have added ITMs (ATMs that accept cash and check deposits and allow for an interactive video chat session with a bank representative) to many of our markets to help expand banking hours for our customers who are not able to come into the bank during the day.  

In looking to the future, we continue to look to expand into areas that our customers want. This could mean further branch remodels, expanding into new markets, new digital offerings, and possibly even leveraging AI in different areas of the bank.  No matter what we do in the future, you can be assured we will keep the hometown community bank feel where you can always walk in and talk to a friendly face to assist you with your needs.
